Hilary Duff Talks About What Goes Up

This year-old insider interview with Hilary Duff still provides an interesting outtake from what she describes as a "coming of age" film. (Spoiler alert!) It was shot on the set of 'What Goes Up,' which was still called 'Safety Glass' at the time.

Since filming, Duff has also completed 'Stay Cool,' 'Greta,' and 'Foodfight!' Her next film, 'The Story of Bonnie and Clyde,' is already in pre-production.

Welcome To 'What Goes Up' Insider

What Goes Up is a film about a morally challenged New York reporter (Steve Coogan) who learns life lessons from a group of dysfunctional students (Hilary Duff, Josh Peck, Olivia Thirlby) while covering the hometown hoopla surrounding the first teacher in space. Set in the 1980s, this poignant fishbowl glimpse at life takes a look at how heroes are made in a world devoid of heroes.

The What Goes Up Insider ( is the official production blog. Here, you'll find weekly updates, insights, interviews, reviews, and opinions written by the producers, along with guest appearances by the cast and crew.
